In 2004, the European Board of Urology (EBU) and the European Association of Urology (EAU) joined forces to promote Continuing Medical Education (CME) among urologists across Europe by establishing the EU-ACME (European Urology – Accredited Continuing Medical Education) Committee.
Within the EU-ACME Committee, the EBU and the EAU share equal representation with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibilities:

EBU (European Board of Urology): Through its Accreditation Committee, the EBU is responsible for evaluating and accrediting educational events in urology, adhering to the UEMS/EACCME guidelines.
