In 2025, the European Board of Urology (EBU) introduced a new revalidation process: FEBU diplomas are now valid for five years. To maintain certification, urologists must earn a minimum of 200 CME/CPD credits within each five-year cycle.
To support this, the EU-ACME MyCME platform has become the official tool for tracking CME/CPD activities. FEBU holders are required to maintain an up-to-date portfolio in MyCME, logging all relevant educational activities.
This marks more than just a procedural change—it reflects a deeper commitment to lifelong learning. In a rapidly evolving field like urology, staying current requires not only dedication but also patience. Professional growth is a continuous journey, built step by step through consistent learning and reflection.
