CME/CPD Credit System – changes as of 1 January 2020
CONTINUALLY EVOLVING FOR OVER 20 YEARS
Following the recommendation of the UEMS, the EBU launched the EBU CME/CPD credit system in July 1998. Since then the system has developed continuously; the last update was done in 2019. In the current EBU CME/CPD accreditation system both Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) are given more equal importance.
The new CME/CPD credit system is valid as of 1st January 2020 and for activities as of 1st January 2020.
